The Blaine City Council met on May 7th and approved plans for a new apartment complex development. This project will be completed in three phases and will provide 112 new units to the Blaine area. The new complex will be located on the corner of 126th Avenue and Central Avenue.
The city has been working with Kason, Incorporated of Forest Lake for nearly a year to get the project finalized. In March of last year, the Blaine Planning Commission actually recommended that the City Council deny the project. However, they never took action and Kason revised the plan before it was approved.
