If you’re looking for something to do this weekend in Blaine, head out to the National Sports Center for the Joyful Noise Family Fest.
98.5 KTIS listeners will especially enjoy this event because it gives you the chance to hear some of the most popular songs – live – that you hear on the radio.
Some of the artists that will be making an appearance include:
Tenth Avenue North
Steven Curtis Chapman
Come for the music – sure – but stay for the rest of the fun. They’ll have 30 giant inflatable toys for the kids to play on, water slides, climbing walls and more.
Don’t bother eating before the event because you will definitely want to have room for cotton candy and mini-donuts (diet? What diet?!)
KTIS will be broadcasting live from the festival so pop by their tent and say hi to your favorite air personalities and to sign up for the amazing prizes they’re offering. In fact, the festival is giving away a week-long family vacation this year so make sure you register for your chance to win.
Kids age four and younger and graduating high school seniors (bring proof) get in free. Everyone else should buy tickets online for a price break – they’re substantially more expensive at the gate.
Although the music starts on Friday (gates open at 5 p.m.), the inflatables and other events open on Saturday at 10 a.m.
Bring a blanket or lawn chairs for the concerts. Event organizers request that you do not bring pets, audio or video equipment and outside food, beverages or coolers.
Finally, rain is in the forecast for Saturday but the show will go on – rain or shine.
