A lot of folks, especially those of you that live in the northern part of Blaine, have been asking us what’s going on with all the construction up around Harper and 128th Avenue. What’s going on is Wagamon Ranch, another new home community for Blaine.
Several builders (Hanson, Regency and Gorham) are planning on putting up homes that, so far at least, will be priced in the $500,000s.
The community will take up 92 areas of designated wetland so you can imagine the headaches during the approval process. All is well, though, and we can look forward to a sparkling new neighborhood with a clubhouse, pool and trails.
Last week, Blaine’s city council met to approve a bunch of other new sites as well, including a new one at The Lakes, a 14-single-family home project just south of Wagamon Ranch and a new detached townhome development.
New Homes in Lino Lakes
Our neighbors in Lino Lakes shouldn’t feel left out because you’ve got a very large development coming up. Known as Watermark, the community will be located along Lino Lake’s border with Centerville. Look for 800 new homes going in here, both multi- and single-family structures.
Once you make up your mind that you want a new rather than an existing home you couldn’t be more ideally situated than in Blaine. We always have either something in the works or a slew of new homes from which to choose.
We like the Woods at Quail Creek, a lot. Located in the Anoka-Hennepin School District, the homes feature from 2 to 4 Bedrooms and anywhere from 2 to 4 baths, depending on model. Square footage ranges from 1,902 to 3,328 and the homes are priced from $354,990 to $412,990.
One Woods at Quail Creek home available right now sits on a .25 acre, south-facing lot that backs to a natural pond and wetlands. It features a gorgeous gourmet kitchen (wait until you see the size of the pantry!) and a lovely owner’s suite.
You’ll find 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms (two full and two partial) in this 3,426 square-foot home, listed at $475,150.
