Looking through the Blaine MLS listings this morning I was astounded that homebuyers in Blaine can actually spend less than $100,000 for a home. That’s definitely cheaper than renting.
If you’re downsizing or this will be your first home and your budget is tight, take a look at the following houses for sale in Blaine.
This home is adorable from the outside but the listing agent was a bit stingy with interior photos, so who knows? The interior could be just as charming or it could be a disaster. We haven’t viewed this home yet so I can’t tell you.
Its location however is great. It’s in southwest Blaine, with Westwood Intermediate School 3 minutes (by car) northeast of the home and Northtown Mall 4 minutes to the south. Technically, the neighborhood is known as the fifth addition to Daily & Herda.
Anyway, about the home. This is a 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom home with 880 square feet of living space. It sits on a roomy .25-acre lot and has a large detached garage and a patio in the back. This home was built in 1955 and it’s listed at $99,900.
If you are looking for a townhome for sale in Blaine, this one may be worth a visit. It’s located in the Clover Leaf Farm community in the west part of Blaine and it offers excellent 610 access for commuters.
This single-level townhome appears to be well-maintained (you’ll never know, though until you have a home inspector take a look), and it boasts fresh paint, new carpet, new light fixtures and more. All the appliances are new as well. The roof’s shingles were replaced last month.
There are 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom in this 832 square foot home. We like the fact that although it’s a small home, the living room is quite large.
This single-family home, built in 1960, is located in Donnay’s Oak Park subdivision. One of Blaine’s older neighborhoods, it’s in quite a handy location – just a 5-minute walk to Madison Elementary School and 6 minutes to Quincy Park.
This one-story home features 2 bedrooms and 1 full and 1 partial bathroom in 864 square feet of living space. It was built in 1960 and features a galley-type kitchen and a large backyard. This home is being sold as a short sale.
