Eddy's Resort has been transformed into something quite different than before. It's found on the western shores of Lake Mille Lacs and provides a resort atmosphere with a new dining experience and much more.

The Launch Bar & Grill provides plenty of great menu options with a peaceful atmosphere for dining. This is just one of the great features of the new resort. Here’s what you will find at Eddy's Resort this summer.

Eddy's Resort provides 64 guest rooms, four private cabins and one Parlour suite. It has been designed with contemporary decor and provides a great experience for those looking to escape everyday life.

Recreation and Activities

The resort has put an emphasis on recreation with plenty of activities for families and outdoor enthusiast to enjoy. You can enjoy golf, hiking, biking, lake activities and so much more at the resort. Whether using the resort for a retreat, corporate event, family reunion or just an escape for the weekend, there's plenty to enjoy.

Along with the recreational activities, you can enjoy world-class gaming, shopping, dining, entertainment and much more at the resort. It has become an oasis away from the pressure and speed of regular life.

History and Transformation

The resort dates back to 1960 when it was first named after Edward Silker. It was originally established to launch a fishing operation and for the first decade the crew handcrafted a new launch boat every year. Many of the boats are still in use today.

Over the years, the resort has been transformed into something different and new. The resort was acquired by the Corporate Commission of the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe in 2002, which is now called Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures.

Since they have transformed the resort into its' current state as a modern boutique hotel with an "up north" feel. The lobby is very inviting and reclaimed wood has been used from the Eddy's fleet boats throughout. Lakeside views are found within the hotel and a see-through fireplace has also been added.

Location

The resort is found at 41334 Shakopee Lake Road in Onamia, Minnesota. It has been featured on DestinationUpNort.com and provides the perfect escape for those looking to get away from Blaine for a week or just a few days.
