It's that time again for spring cleaning and doing it the fastest, most effective way possible. You may not like cleaning, but it doesn't have keep you from doing it the right way. Here are some tips to help you with your spring cleaning.

Dealing with Dust

Dust is one of the worst things in your home, but you can keep it a bay by adjusting the humidity in your home. With lower humidity levels comes static electricity, which attracts dust. If you keep your humidity level between 40% and 50%, you won't have to worry about dust mite growth. This will make it easier to dust within your home.

During your spring cleaning, make sure to wash all your vents with mild soap and water. This will help to keep them clean. You can also apply car wax to the vents, which will help keep them from attracting more dust.

Cleaning the oven

Did you know that most oven-cleaning products give off noxious fumes and cause a huge mess? Most of these cleaners are made with lye, which can actually burn your skin and your eyes. It's also fatal if swallowed.

Instead, use web pumice stone to scrape off the grease and dirt. Not only is this a toxin-free way to clean your oven, but it's much faster.

Sweeping your Home

You've probably noticed that brooms can hold onto dirt and many just push the dirt around. Instead of using a dirty broom, you can use a spray duster to get the dirt bunnies off it. However, there is a better way.

With a product called Broom Groomer, you can the things off the broom that get stuck. This will keep you from accidentally getting cut on glass caught in your broom and from just pushing around the dirt.
